Certification of Equipment
The purpose of equipment certification is to ensure user safety, verify product quality, and strengthen market confidence. It enables manufacturers, importers, and suppliers to demonstrate that their products comply with the relevant standards and technical regulations. Certification services are provided in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065, following principles of independence, impartiality, and professional competence.
Certification is provided for the following types of equipment:
✅ Electrical and electronic equipment
✅ Safety equipment
✅ Telecommunication equipment
✅ Information technology equipment
✅ Industrial equipment
✅ Other types of equipment
Required Documents
Applicants shall submit the following documents when applying for product or service certification:
✅ Application letter and request form (ABS PC P01 F‑2, ABS PC P01 F‑3)
✅ Copy of the State Registration Certificate (or a copy of the national ID for individuals)
✅ Manufacturer’s / Supplier’s Declaration
✅ Test results (e.g., health and safety test results, electromagnetic compatibility test results, etc.)
✅ Technical specifications
✅ User manual, installation/operation instructions
✅ Photographs (external and internal structure, and photos taken during testing)
✅ Additional information, where applicable, such as: Product samples, Block diagrams, Functional principle diagrams, Copy of the previous Certificate of Conformity (for certificate renewal), any other documents required to verify conformity
Responsibilities of the Applicant
The certificate holder shall comply with the following obligations:
✅ Maintain continuous conformity with the applicable standards
✅ Provide access for testing, inspection, and surveillance activities when required
✅ Use the certificate strictly within its defined scope
✅ Cooperate in the fair and transparent resolution of complaints and disputes
✅Cease the use of the certificate, conformity mark, and any related materials when the certificate becomes invalid or is withdraw
